Complete brand identity system for That's Dope Productions, a New York-based production company specializing in live entertainment, audio/visual services, and event production. The founders wanted an identity that could balance artistic credibility with corporate professionalism—cool and creative enough for music showcases, polished enough for Fortune 500 events.

The visual direction blends brush-inspired elements with sleek, modern typography to capture that duality, while incorporating contemporary digital culture—the 😮 emoji serves as both a playful nod to internet aesthetics and a representation of surprise and excitement, core to live entertainment.

I designed the logo and logomark in Adobe Illustrator, established brand guidelines and usage standards, selected typography, and created custom patterns for both digital applications and physical touchpoints, including merch and live event collateral. I also developed animated intro and end slates in After Effects to extend the brand into video content.

The brand guidelines come with usage guides for the logo and logomark, a primary and secondary color palette, typography, a visual motif and pattern, and image x video guidelines. Further background patterns and visuals have been developed, as seen below in mockups for merch and events production.

The graveyard section delves into preliminary logo explorations, which featured a more drum-heavy approach and African-inspired motifs, which pay homage to founder Jay Bratton's artistry as a drummer and African heritage.
