KOBE DISHES OUT NEW CHALLENGES ON MAMBA DAY
An original anime short honoring Kobe Bryant's legacy, featuring the Black Mamba issuing challenges to Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and then Nets star Kyrie Irving. Scripted and produced by Starr Nathan and Martell Pegues, this marked Bleacher Report's first collaboration with a traditional anime studio.
I sourced Core Force Works during research into authentic anime production pipelines, provided character design assistance, and handled all subtitles and sound design to bring the piece to life. Reference material included scenes from Slam Dunk and Kuroko's Basketball.

NBA PRO DUNK: 2020 PLAYOFFS
A bubble playoffs tribute focused on the signature sneakers of NBA players, stylized as a '90s anime homage to Slam Dunk. Created as a tie-in to the Pro Dunk manga by Conscious Basketball founder Vince Chang (illustrated by HYPER-3), the short features a 4:3 aspect ratio and a closing shot directly inspired by iconic Slam Dunk artwork.
I provided art direction, photo references, storyboarding, and sourced the audio track. Kanji by Vince Chang.
