Role: Freelance Creative Designer

The Brief: Expand a comprehensive reactive graphics system for DAZN's FIFA Club World Cup coverage while creating bespoke pieces that could be produced at match speed across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram simultaneously.

Problem: The tournament featured 32 clubs from every continent, each with fiercely loyal fanbases and distinct visual identities. Generic sports graphics wouldn't cut it — the content had to feel authentic to a global football audience while staying cohesive under DAZN's brand system (visual identity by Big Blue Ox).

Insight: A modular system of templates that let video and photography do the talking allows you to produce reactive content in real time that still feels bespoke. Sprinkle in some hero graphics and you've got yourself a solid package.

Design Intent: I built upon the graphics system developed by Big Blue Ox — match templates, hero assets, and social formats designed to be adapted on the fly during live matches. Pre-match content was prepared for each fixture, then reactive graphics including YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts and stories, TikTok clips, and hero assets were executed in real time. Every piece could be customized per fixture while maintaining a unified visual language across seven platforms.

Outcome: 8B+ video views, 10B+ impressions, 366M+ engagements, 17M hours watched, +6M followers, 36K posts. Won Best Social Media Campaign on TikTok at the Global Football Industry Awards.
